Think Before You Do

Sometimes it’s easy just to do something without thinking. However, it’s harder to recover from those actions.
Tonight, I had to deal with my oldest sons decision on how he treated his youngest brother. What he thought was a good decision at the time turned out to be bad decision in the long run. His reason was “I wasn’t thinking.”
As the new year approaches think about what you want to accomplish and write it down. Don’t get into a situation were you have to make decisions that you don’t have an idea what the outcome will be. You may end up regretting it if your unprepared.

I Just Met You

Currently, I’m in London.  It was a good week for business travel. Today, it’s time to go out see the City of London and who I can meet. I’m not sure if this will be easy or a challenge. Londoners are known for keeping their heads down moving to their destination quickly. Let’s see how many I can stop and what their reaction will be to being asked “Can I take your picture?”

 

5 Acre Studios

5 Acre Studios (5AS) was formed from an old business that my wife Keisha and I started over 12 years ago. 5AS blends the creative side of Keisha with my technical side to give our clients and active photo and design studio. 5AS focuses on photography and creative design. We have been successful in interpreting what our clients need and then utilizing our skills to produce the solutions that give them the best results.

How did we come up with the name 5 Acre Studios? Well, that’s simple. We live on a 5 acre hobby farm in the suburbs of Gwinnett County North East of Atlanta. While it is a work in progress it’s a great place to visit. Our boys love it! There’s lots of room to go loose yourself to your imagination. Then when you come back to reality you can help tend to the two dogs (Kira and Hero), two spotted saddle horses (Hercules and Cheyenne), two chickens (Zoe and Chloe) and our other bird Ajax. Then if your here at the right time you can see the dear and fox that roam property while the hawks fly up above. let’s just say that it’s never a dull moment at our place.

Change is Coming

Wait! It’s here. You’re probably wondering what happened to the web site. Well, there’s lots of changes taking place. This site is now my personal site where I will talk about the ups and downs of becoming a better photographer, everyday life stuff and whatever else comes to mind.
